Living in the sticks (5 points if you’ve heard of Rosswood, 10 if you can point to it on a map, none if you think we’re all hippies), my blog is one way of keeping in touch with friends and family. It’s also where I can write, think, argue, and yes, even whine to my heart’s content.
I work in IT in a very small rural school district, have 2 kids (Things One and Two), a wonderful husband (The Badger), and an unfinished house.
I enjoy reading, knitting and spinning, cooking, and am passionate about education (a side-effect of having homeschooled my kids for 9 years).
Currently, I am thinking a lot about social justice and the gospel, as well as implications of the ‘read-write web’ on learning, so if this leaks into my blog, don’t be surprised.
Oh- and we have 2 new(ish) kittens. So they’ll likely show up a bit. Sorry.
