Found this poem in the current issue of ‘Rhubarb‘, a Canadian Mennonite literary and art journal. It made my day, for Baptists and Mennonites have a great deal in common, it turns out!

epigrammatic = pithy
Now, I have rarely met a less pithy sounding word. If a word that sounds like its meaning is onomatopoeia, what is a word that seems the opposite of its meaning?
