A Happy Camper

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my washing strung out to dry on the clothesline. The Badger kindly put mine back up last week, and while it’s shorter now it still holds about 2 loads of laundry.

So it was with a deep contentment that I hung the laundry up this morning and watched the […]

So this doesn’t describe my job, or the Badger’s, but a girl can dream.

Skunk works is a term used in engineering and technical fields to describe a group within an organization given a high degree of autonomy and unhampered by bureaucracy, tasked with working on advanced or secret projects.

I kinda miss the monkey. Aaigh.

Pretty

I came across mention of white peacocks this morning- I had never heard of such a thing, I don’t know why not.  I went hunting and found some pics- they are delicate and ethereal looking.  But I suspect they’re just as noisy as their colourful counterparts.

In the bag

Browsing the ‘net recently I came across the Purse Project- as site that suggests a theme every couple of months for sewing a purse or bag. You create something on that theme and submit it, and the site owner makes a nice flickr gallery of everyone’s contributions. I’m not a purse collector, all […]
